AIDS & Cancer

Yesterday, when We were taking about AIDS and Cancer an interesting query was established by Mel and, if I remember well, it was like: It is closer the quantity of persons with AIDS respect the amount of people suffering some type of cancer?

And of course the answer is: they are quite different!

On 2007 in Mexico there were 514,420 deceased people, 65,112 of them passed away as a result of a malign tumor (Cancer) and 5,099 departed as a result of complications produced by VIH. So the proportion between this two death causes is more than 12 to 1. The first five factors of death on 2007 in whole Mexico were: heart illnesses, diabetes mellitus, cancer, accidents and liver illnesses.

Until November the 14th 2009, there were 135,003 accumulated persons suffering AIDS. It is important to notice that the count was initiated in 1983 with only 66 medical confirmed cases. Nevertheless, I couldn't find any statistic giving the amount of people suffering cancer in order to be compared versus the VIH occurrence.

Furthermore, guess what? Surprisingly most of the VIH deceased people in 2006 were men with 82.7%. So, it is clear that a macho man factor takes an important role in this problem.

So, as a health care proposition, I propose this: USE CONDOMS in any intercourse and, I recommend to reduce ingestion of meals riches on carbohydrates and of course to do exercise. Thus, from now on, do not consume cakes (marinela, gamesa, etc.), soft drinks (coke, pepsi), tortas, etc. And, move your body!
